The humourously titled ‘Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will’ is Mogwai’s seventh studio album, and is out today in Europe and the UK (North Americans will have to wait until tomorrow). While it’s hardly a groundbreaking peice of work, it shows the Scotch post-rockers at that which they do best. Having said that, some of the tracks on this album do seem to have the slight odour of fellow Glaswegians Errors about them, an intriguing addition to the familiar Mogwai sound. Coincidentally, Mogwai are about to embark on a UK tour, which will be passing through the following venues:
