Richard Parker are a Leeds-based post rock outfit who could be named after the Tiger from Life of Pi (or the mutinous sailor). Yesterday they released ‘Trophies’, the first single from an album due in 2013, on Communal Blood. It has all the good parts of post-rock while still remaining fresh and inventive, a refreshing change from the norm.
