Three days ago, Balam Acab released two new tracks, Just Stay and Come True, for free download, available here. Both tracks are built on the same foundations as his debut LP, Wander / Wonder, although they’re both more beat driven and a little less ‘washed-out.’ While the witch house scene is clearly still an influence on his work, these releases wouldn’t sound out of place on a Four Tet or Shlohmo release, with Alec Koone continuing to refine his sound.
