Glaswegian quartet Errors recently unleashed the above track, ‘Earthscore’, heralding the release of a new album entitled Have Some Faith In Magic. Those of you expecting one of Error’s trademark puns will be sorely disappointed, as will anyone who is expecting a repeat of 2008’s It’s Not Something But It Is Like Whatever, or last year’s Come Down With Me. Judging from ‘Earthscore’, Have Some Faith… marks a bit of a departure from Errors previous sound, not least because of the addition of vocals to the foursome’s previously instrumental set up. We’ll have to wait until the New Year to see precisely how far Errors have moved on in terms of sound, but the tribal meets krautrock of Earthscore has me won over already. The album will be released on Mogwai’s Rock Action label.
