As alluded to by Jon in his Spring mixtape post, it’s that time of year where work takes over, deadlines build up and revision takes hold. There are very few positives to this time of year. The sun’s finally out but you’re not, beer gardens are yet to be invaded by wasps but you really shouldn’t be drinking.
About the only positive I can think of is the revision playlist. You spend several painstaking hours selecting precisely the right songs to get you through and come June you’ll never listen to it again. Until maybe next year.
Well this year’s a little different for me as I’ve stumbled on 7fingers by Nils Frahm & Anne Müller, released in February earlier this year, and it’s everything I need to keep me (just about) focussed.
