Featuring members of modern instrumental/jazz outfit and Mercury Prize nominees Portico Quartet, Circle Traps have recently released their debut EP. Having already been compared with the likes of Four Tet and Pantha Du Prince, with good reason, Circle Traps have created four tracks of beautifully atmospheric sound, underpinned with 2-step rhythms and sprinkled with the kind of glittering chimeyness that would make Kieran Hebden himself proud.
