Opening with simple guitar and a lonely background croon, the song exists in a dark, isolated zone, a dead of night drama gradually stoked to life by impassioned vocals and insistent drums. From there, the track rises across its run-time, coming alive at first in sparks, then shimmers and finally shining bright, unfurling into a nocturnal pop hit.
