We wrote about Dear Tracks back in March when we reviewed their excellent EP, Soft Dreams. Released on Furious Hooves and Track & Field Records, the release blended shoegaze, surf pop and grunge to paint dreamy, kaleidoscopic worlds so lush with nostalgia that you could dive right in. As we wrote:
“[With] Dear Tracks songs, the soundscapes conjure something colourful and bright, wide open expanses through which we can wander free of whatever mental baggage we lugged to the door”
Messore and Co. are back with a new 7″ single, ‘Aligning With The Sun’. Released on New York’s The Native Sound, the track creates a similarly inviting environment, someplace tropical and hot where the sunlight is thick and the water clear and the inhabitants long and sleek and reptilian, lounging on heated rocks to warm their cool blood.
