Tom Greenwood unveils new track, ‘Anything But Yourself’

Tom Greenwood is a singer-songwriter from Bow, East London, whose first experiences of music were winding back his Thunderbirds tape to figure out how to play the theme on the piano. His talents have since evolved past puppet-based intros, writing indie rock/pop hybrids which comes across as a mixture of Springsteen and The Church. Produced and mixed by Nick Rayner, ‘Anything But Yourself’ is a prime example, the synths and prominent drums (played by James Rees-Flynn) carrying the song forward with a dreamy energy.

This is apparently the first of many tracks Greenwood plans to put out this year, so be sure to keep an eye on his website for further releases.
