Last month we featured a couple of tracks from Scots Alphabetical Order Orchestra. We also mentioned a Kickstarter campaign that the band were setting up to support their music. Their idea is to use sales of their self-titled debut EP (more on which in a moment) to fund the recording time and resources required to continue to create music. The band plan to release a series of EPs, completely independently, and so need your help. Simply head over to the Kickstarter page and pledge £5 for a CD version of the EP, or £10 for a 12″ vinyl.
The band were kind enough to send over a copy of the EP, and I must say I like what I hear. It is comprised of four tracks, the two we featured last time, and two new tracks. ‘Supergods’ is a slight sidestep, a (what can only be described as) funky pop track with falsetto vocals and a kickin’ beat. ‘Untitled 1’ is a slow building indie rock track, which culminates in a squall of feedback. Fans of My Latest Novel (like me) will absolutely love it.
