Hallelujah The Hills are back with a new single and accompanying B-side. ‘The Three Minute Mark’ is available now as a download (for a single dollar) or a limted edition handmade CD. Neither song will be appearing on the forthcoming (and highly-anticipated) LP so get them while you can.
The Three Minute Mark by Hallelujah The Hills
If you find yourself in any of the following locations in the next few days then get out and see these guys:
Feb 21 Boston, MA @ Oberon – the unfolding synchronistic improbable (w/ ho-ag & dear leader)
Feb 22: Arlington, VA @ Iota
Feb 23: Kennett square, PA @ Kennett Flash
Feb 24: Brooklyn, NY @ The Rock Shop
If you are unfamiliar with the band I would strongly recommend that you delve into their back catalogue. Last year’s No One Knows What Happens Next, the deceptively clever Colonial Drones, and my personal favourite Collective Psychosis Begone are all well worth your time. Their style has varied a lot over their career, from the weird/amusing (= interesting) lyrical style of Collective Psychosis Begone to the out and out rock songs of the nwer releases. This willingness to adapt and change record upon record means these guys stay fresh, and they look more than capable of carving out a position amongst the top indie rock bands in America (I’m talking The National, The Walkmen etc.).
