Denver’s Eye & the Arrow are set to release their ‘first real’ EP If By Fire. The release is a diverse blend of styles that vocalist Paul DeHaven says is an exploration of their potential as a band, with indie rock, punk and folk references all clear across the six tracks; ‘Emeralds & Pearls’ is a jangly summer rock tune while ‘Prophet’s Hometown’ leans towards folk, ‘Wild Buffalo has a mathy rock flavour whereas ‘Honey Wine’ is a far more traditional example of good old rock and roll.
The album will be released on 26th January. If you find yourself in Colorado at that time then head over to Hi-Dive for the release party.
