German composer and musician Nils Frahm likes to keep busy. Besides all of his albums (nine in total, three in the last two years) and collaborations, he is still looking for other things to pursue. After injuring his thumb, Frahm invited fans to try to improve and expand upon his work. He offered nine recordings from his album Screws as downloads and asked for reworks, remixes, videos… any form of alternate interpretations on his original work. The results can now be found on the SCREWS Reworked website so head over there and explore the ever-increasing array of art based upon his work and see a video of him explaining the project a little more. My favourite example is below for you to enjoy but there really are many more to explore. If you are feeling creative then you can still SUBMIT so get involved.
