Garage rock outfit 2 Ton Bug have released a two song EP, Thrillsville. There is nothing complicated here, just fast and sloppy rock songs with bundles of energy. Both songs are noisy, messy, and great fun. What is punk all about if not shouting “School stinks!” repeatedly?

As an aside, the band’s name is used as a moniker for one of the best Twitter accounts around, a project that I guess is from band member Joe Rumrill who dabbles in stand up comedy. Check out the videos on his Youtube channel. They seem to get funnier with each listen (for some reason I find the ’Ol’ Self-Checkout’ sketch hilarious every time).
