Iuengliss (apparently pronounced “eye-wen-gliss”) is Denver based producer Tommy Metz, apparently inspired to begin creating music by the likes of Warp Records figureheads Aphex Twin and Autechre. Both are evident in the painstakingly micro-sculpted sounds of his new album Blank Matter, though Metz’s approach is distinctly more upbeat than his influences would suggest.
