I don’t know much about Groundislava (real name Jasper Patterson), but I like what he does. A member of LA’s WEDIDIT Collective alongside Shlohomo, Patterson knows how do 8bit without it being gimicky and irritating, which is a rare talent. The track above is taken from his self-titled debut LP, released on April 12th on Friends of Friends.
