VTCN RADIO

Parisian electronic duo VTCN RADIO have recently released two brand new tracks. The first, ‘Jean Moulin’ (named after and dedicated to Monsieur Moulin, one of the leading figures in the French Resistance during the Second World War), is a track dominated by its impassioned vocals. My French is non-existent, but I don’t have to understand the words to get the idea. The delivery is fierce and defiant, and sort of brings to mind a francophone old-timey American preacher, raving not about blood and hellfire, but on the liberty of the people of France.

The second track is ‘Holy Frank’, a dark and streamlined slice of electronica. What it lacks in urgency (at least compared to the track above), it makes up for in hazy atmospherics. Check it out below:
