I’m not entirely sure how this passed me by. Released back in March on Domino Records, Diamond Mine is a collaboration between Jon Hopkins (we liked his Monsters Soundtrack too) and King Creosote, which was nominated for the Mercury Prize in the summer. The Beeb described it as a “collaboration that makes sense,” The Line of Best Fit as a “roaring success,” and DiS labelled it “the best of folk … (and) the best of electronica.”
