In the midst of all the London riots, Field Day played out comparatively sedately in Victoria Park, Mile End. Acts on show included the likes of Actress, Benga (who was hugely entertaining), James Blake, John Hopkins and Star Slinger among others.
The highlight of the day however, were Mount Kimbie. Personal favourites Maybes and Mayor were particularly memorable, but in all honesty the entire set was rather good.
This all ties in rather nicely with the release of their latest EP, Carbonated, which features two new tracks, Flux and Bave’s Chords and three remixes.
