I think I’m a little late to the party on this one as these have been receiving plenty of attention from many of the main faces on the ‘blogosphere’. Anyway, Pure X (Formally Pure Ectasy) released their LP ’Pleasure’ on Acephale Records earlier in July. The album is a lovely mix of lo-fi, punk rock and more ambient/chillwave pieces. The record seems to build up nicely to the epic finale, with ‘Dry Ice’ and ‘Half Here’ providing my favourite moments.
