I’ve just got in from seeing Bonobo at the Troxy. Having only really dipped my toes into the whole Ninja Tune thing, it was really great to see an artist so confidently pull off this sort of music with a full live band. Not only does it sound great on record, but the live sound is full, atmospheric and makes you want to dance. This was all topped off nicely by the seductive voice of Andreya Triana whose mastery over a loop station left the entire crowd’s collective jaw on the floor.
