The Chariot have done it again with their 4th studio album Long Live. Above is an absolutely nuts video that has all the WTFery of an OK GO video without the enormous budget and sugar coated indie melodies. Hold tight for 2:30 onwards for producer Matt Goldman on drums and Dan Smith of Listener on a redneck spoken word rant reminiscent of Aaron Weiss’ section in Norma Jean’s Memphis Shall Be Laid to Waste.
The album itself is blisteringly, unrelentingly good as we have come to expect of The Chariot – a band who seem to consistently be able to incorporate the phenomenal energy of their live show into their studio recordings. Long Live is available now on Good Fight Records with a UK tour with MyChildren MyBride scheduled for March 2011.
